Plumb Pharmaceuticals has developed a platform technology for the development of super-extended-release medications. Their patented Advanced Quantload (AQL) system for producing super-extended-release formulations of weak-base, small molecule drugs, extends release 3-5X longer than current medications. AQL can be used for a wide variety of compounds, including antidepressants, stimulants for treating ADHD, anti-HIV drugs, antibiotics, antipsychotics, cancer chemotherapy agents, antihistamines, and analgesics.
